According to Mr. Anura Kumara Dissanayake, leader of the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna, Mr. Wickramasinghe will not receive the 134 votes required to pass the emergency law tomorrow (27).
He noted that because the presidential election was a secret ballot, members of the opposition also voted for Mr. Wickramasinghe, which would not happen on Wednesday.
