The Tamil National Alliance has decided not to negotiate with President Ranil Wickremesinghe.
Its leader, Mr. R. Sampanthan, has stated that there is no point in discussing this with the President any further.
The President started these talks to find solutions to the ethnic problem in the North East and several rounds of talks were held between the two sides.
But after the last discussion, the Tamil National Alliance has decided not to participate in those discussions.
