According to the report, the loss is a part of the fees charged for the issuance of registration certificates, licensing, approval for exemption from registration, approval for packaging, approval for assignment of agencies, conducting tests and other services provided in relation to drugs, medical devices and other products. shown
The National Audit Office says that the fees charged for these services were last revised on January 5, 2018 and that the fees should be reviewed in 2021 and the relevant revisions should be submitted for treasury approval, but the authorities of the authority have not acted accordingly.
In the meantime, it is stated in the report that due to the omissions of officials and various other problems, in 18 cases in the year 2021, more than ten lakhs of income had been paid back to various institutions.
