The Cabinet has approved the introduction of a new law on mutual recognition, registration and enforcement of foreign judgments.
Accordingly, the Bill on Mutual Recognition, Registration and Enforcement of Foreign Judgments has been prepared by the draftsman to include provisions for the recognition and registration of foreign judgments awarded for the dissolution or annulment of a marriage or the separation of parties to a marriage. .
The government says that it has received the permission of the Attorney General for the bill.
Accordingly, the Council of Ministers has approved the proposal submitted by the Minister of Judicial Prison Affairs and Constitutional Reform to publish the bill in the Government Gazette and then submit it to Parliament for approval.
