This agreement was signed by Mr. Basil Rajapaksa, the former Minister of Finance during the previous government, with the American company New Fortress Company at midnight. for which Mr. Udaya Gammanpila, who was the Minister of Energy at the time, and Mr. Wimal Weerawansa, the Minister of Industry, had expressed strong objections.
