National Business Excellence Awards 2026 celebrates ‘Excellence Forged Through Resilience’ on 28th July 2026

The National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka is proud to announce that the National Business Excellence Awards (NBEA) 2026 the grand awards night, will take place on Tuesday, 28th July 2026 at the Shangri-La Colombo, commencing at 5.00 PM.

Celebrating its 21st consecutive year, the NBEA stands as one of Sri Lanka’s most prestigious platforms recognising and rewarding outstanding business achievements.

Over the years, the Awards have honoured companies that demonstrate excellence in business and organisational performance across a wide range of sectors.

This year’s milestone event is expected to bring together leading business leaders, entrepreneurs, government officials, and diplomatic representatives to honour the highest standards of corporate excellence and sustainability. The awards evaluation process is led by a highly respected Panel of Judges, ensuring transparency, integrity, and rigorous assessment.

140 nominees across 31 sectors and business categories will be unveiled during the ceremony, which will be followed by a glamourous sit-down dinner and networking opportunities for distinguished guests. The grand ceremony will be graced by the Chief guest – His Excellency Remi Lambert – Ambassador of France to Sri Lanka.

The National Business Excellence Awards 2026 continues its mission to inspire, benchmark, and celebrate excellence in the Sri Lankan corporate world. The evaluations for this prestigious awards ceremony were conducted through a comprehensive process, beginning with a Technical and Financial Evaluation Committee headed by Mr Rajith Perera, Partner – Financial Accounting Advisory Services, Ernst & Young, and a distinguished independent Panel of Judges co-chaired by Senior Prof. Ajantha Dharmasiri, Senior Professor in Management, Postgraduate Institute of Management

and Mr Lasantha Salgado, an experienced HR professional, a consultant in HRM and Labour Law, practising Attorney-at-Law (Labour Law and Industrial Relations)
