Central Bank Governor Dr. Nandalal Weerasinghe has warned that collecting money from the public under the guise of cultivation or agricultural investment projects is illegal.
He urged individuals who have deposited money in such schemes to immediately take steps to recover their funds, cautioning the public against investing in unauthorized projects that promise returns through cultivation-related ventures.
