Namal Criticizes Government: “We Should Be in Power by the Will of the People, Not by Delaying Their Voice! Mahinda Always Had Elections on Time”! I Sri Lanka Latest News

Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna National Organizer Namal Rajapaksa says that postponing elections is not compatible with any democracy. Sri Lanka Latest News

He stated this while answering a question asked by journalists at the end of a meeting at Nelum Mawatha.

Namal Rajapakse further commented,

Extending the term of the President and the Parliament is harmful to the basic principles of democracy. Elections were held on time when Mahinda Rajapaksa was in power. Elections were not postponed. Namal Rajapaksa further said that political stability in a country should come from the will of the people and not by delaying their voices.
