In an inquiry made by Dinamina newspaper to a senior police officer in this regard, it has been stated that arresting the suspects involved in this murder has now become a challenge for the police.
At least the reason for this killing has not been clearly revealed so far, said the official. But the official said that the investigation is going on based on the various information received.
The officer also said that it appears that the killing was carried out very meticulously, even destroying the evidence.
Roshan Kumara was killed on February 26 at his home in Divithurugama, Kurundugahahetham. It was around 6:50 in the morning. He was killed when he was ready to send his youngest child to school on the first day of school.
More than 10 police teams, including the Criminal Investigation Department, Colombo Crime Division, and the Police Special Task Force, have been deployed to investigate the murder.
