MP S. M. Marikkar’s New Year’s Eve public meeting was recently held at his Salamulla office in Kolonnawa.
A notable feature of the event was the participation of a significant number of strong EDP supporters.
Addressing the gathering, Mr. Marikkar stated that the merger between the United National Party (UNP) and the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) is inevitable.
