More MPs from the TNA and other independent groups have joined forces to oppose the government’s repressive and anti-democratic moves. -VIDEO & PHOTOS

In order to work together as a massive force against the anti-democratic activities carried out by the government, many opposition groups were initiated and as the second phase, several opposition groups gathered today (25) in the Parliament .

In the face of the current political, economic and social issues, many opposition groups led by the Samagi Janabalawega came together in the Parliament yesterday under the leadership of opposition leader Mr. Sajith Premadasa to unite all the political parties of the opposition to form a common program against the arbitrary and program implemented by the government.

The meeting which was held today as an extension was attended by MPs representing the Tamil Alliance as well as several people’s representatives working in Parliament independently of the government.
