Total number of skeletons found in the mass grave has increased to 14.
Initial surface tests have confirmed that they belong to one male LTTE member and 13 female LTTE members.
Members of the Tamil National Alliance and the leader of the Ilankei Tamil Arusu Kachchi Party, Mawei Senadhiraja, a former member of parliament, came to the site of the excavation and told the media that they have requested an international-level investigation in this regard.
Former Member of Parliament Mavei Senadhiraja also said that arrangements have been made to notify the Geneva Human Rights Council regarding the Kokutuduwai mass grave.
Along with the skeletons, official uniforms and weapon parts of the Tigers members and some other equipment have been newly found, and not a single skeleton with normal clothes or parts of such a dress has been found so far.
Due to this, it is further confirmed that the corpses of LTTE members are definitely buried in this mass grave, said Mr Niranjan, a lawyer of the Mullaitivu court, while speaking to the media.
