When the case involving the importation of substandard drugs was heard in court today, details about Mr Keheliya Rambukwella’s statement to the Criminal Investigation Department yesterday were revealed. Sri Lanka Latest News
Mr Nalin Indratissa, who appeared on behalf of the Citizens’ Organization Against Bribery, Corruption and Waste, told the court that although Mr Rambukwella had initially said not to pay for inferior medicines, he had even submitted a cabinet paper requesting him to give money for this medicine by any means.
Also, Mr. Rambukwella submitted the complaint in this regard after the organization he represented filed a lawsuit.
