According to information from the United States CIA, the Mexican military has killed Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes, also known as “El Mencho,” the leader of Mexico’s largest drug cartel based in the Jalisco region. The operation took place on a main road in Jalisco.
Recently, US President Donald Trump stated that Mexico is the only country supplying drugs to the United States and emphasized that the US military is prepared to intervene and control the cartels if the Mexican government fails to do so.
In response to this ongoing situation, Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum has ordered operations targeting drug cartels across the country. As part of these operations, a few hours ago, the Mexican military targeted a convoy carrying the leader of the country’s main drug cartel.
