After Deputy Speaker Ajith Rajapaksa announced to Parliament that Kandy District Member of the Podu Jana Peramuna Mr. Wasantha Yapa Bandara will be newly appointed to the COPE Committee, Mr Wasantha Yapa Bandara who stood up announced that he will resign from it.Sri Lanka Latest News

So far, the total number of members who have resigned from the COPE committee is nine.
