Yesterday (21st) in Metiyagoda area, the relatives of the victim’s family and local residents protested in front of the Metiyagoda police.
The group protested for about an hour and asked the police to do justice to the incident.
A person was injured in a shooting that took place yesterday in the Mahawela area of Metiyagoda, and the police said that the drug dealer was injured in a shooting while trying to arrest a drug dealer.
The injured person was a 28-year-old man, who was shot in the ankle area of his left leg.
