Mr. Dallas Alahapperuma made a mathematical analysis regarding who the winner of this year’s presidential election could be. Sri Lanka Latest News

His analysis is as follows.

This time there are 171 lakh votes.

It can be guessed that 140 lakh votes will fall.

70 lakhs is required to win 50%.

Ranil got 249,000 in the general election.

If 40% of 69 lakh goes to Ranil, it is 27 lakh. Ranil can go for a maximum of 30 lakhs.

418,000 last time to Anurat. Need to get 65 lakhs to go to 70 lakhs. 11 lakh new votes have come. A part can come from there. But to win, Anura needs to get nearly 60 lakh new votes.

Sajith took 55 lakhs in the presidential election. It was received when the country learned that Gota would win. Ranil’s support was not received. 45 lakhs if Ranil’s 10% TNA votes are removed. Then you have to take 25 lakhs to go to 70 lakhs. Sajith is the closest candidate to victory. Everyone else is 40 lakhs away from winning.
