The joint no-confidence motion, presented by the opposition led by the Samagi Jana Balawegaya against Deputy Minister of Defence, retired Major General Aruna Jayasekara, is scheduled to be handed over to the Speaker this afternoon, Sri Lanka Latest News reports.
The motion was originally scheduled to be handed over to the Speaker yesterday; however, it was postponed to today as the Speaker was in the Polonnaruwa area.
