At the Kalutara rally held today, former minister Mr. Johnston Fernando disclosed about a secret discussion held at the Temple Tree Hall when the struggle was at its peak.
He said that when Mr. Mahindu Rajapaksa was preparing to resign from the post of Prime Minister, all the seniors informed Mr. Mahindu Rajapaksa in that discussion not to do so.
