Johan Fernando, the son of former Minister Johnston Fernando, has been arrested by the Police Financial Crimes Division.
Police stated that the arrest was made over the misuse of a lorry and several other vehicles belonging to Sathosa.
He was also taken into custody following investigations that revealed irregularities in the obtaining of salaries and allowances.
