The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has issued a formal notice calling for the suspension of Maxwell de Silva, Secretary General of the National Olympic Committee (NOC).
According to reports, the IOC recently sent an email to NOC President Suresh Subramaniam, urging swift action on the matter.
This notice from the IOC comes in response to allegations against de Silva concerning financial irregularities and ethical misconduct.
