Increased rain expected in many parts of the Island

The meteorological department says that an increase in rainfall is expected in many parts of the island after tomorrow. Sri Lanka Latest News

The department mentions that in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, North-Western, Uva and Eastern provinces and Galle and Matara districts today (07) pm. After about 2.00 there may be rain or thundershowers.

Rest of the areas will experience rain or thundershowers in a few places during the evening or night.

The Meteorological Department states there may be rain in the coastal areas from Puttalam through Colombo and Galle to Hambantota in the morning.
