A group of people has held a protest in front of the office of Mr. Saliya Peiris and the Bar Association has requested to confirm his safety, taking that fact into consideration.
A controversial situation had arisen in the last few days regarding a client who is represented as a lawyer Mr. Saliya Peiris.
That was the reason for the protest in front of his office.
The Bar Association requests that the professional duties of Mr. Saliya Peiris be prevented from being disturbed and that his safety be ensured.
