If the government and the Election Commission work to postpone the local government election through conspiracies, Samagi Jana Balawega and Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna have decided to start a massive protest movement locally and internationally against it.

Over the past few days, the leaders of the Samagi Jana Balawega have held several rounds of discussions in this regard and it is reported that the party has decided to pressure against it internationally in the last discussion.

It is said that the Samagi Jana Balawega had never taken the problems inside the country out of the country before, but it is said that they have reached this decision due to the emergence of a serious danger regarding democracy.

Apart from this, the JVP is also said to be planning to bring a large number of people to Colombo and hold protests against it if the government and the Election Commission take steps to postpone the elections.
