Thilini Priyamali, who has been arrested and remanded for defrauding people of money amounting to crores of rupees, was brought to 4 locations including the World Trade Center by the Criminal Investigation Department today (12) for on-site investigations.
The Criminal Investigation Department has brought her to the World Trade Center for investigation based on a special order obtained from the court.
A team of Criminal Investigation Department officers escorted her from the jail this morning under the protection of jail officials, but she was not handcuffed.
The suspect, who was arrested for defrauding more than 250 crore rupees, was arrested by the Criminal Investigation Department and remanded in custody until the 19th of this month after being produced before the Fort Magistrate Court.
