Lawyers say that Shehan Pasiduge, who was arrested by the police during yesterday’s protest, was assaulted.
His brother expressed his opinion to the media and said that Shehan was beaten both inside the police station and while being taken to the police station.
It is reported that he is currently receiving treatment at the National Hospital after the attack.
