The election observers point out that by now a new election observation organization has been set up by the people connected to the government and Pohottuwa and they are plotting to disrupt the election.

Mr. Manju Gajanayake, head of the CMEV organization, pointed out that this established organization has not participated in the discussions called by the Election Commission, and that a group of journalists led by a powerful position in the government is involved.

He also pointed out that they have created and distributed fake news through the organization.
