Western Province Governor Hanif Yusuf has firmly denied allegations that he was involved in the release of containers from the port without inspection.
Addressing the claims, he stated that he has no connection to the containers in question and expressed his disappointment over the accusations.
“I am deeply saddened by these allegations,” he said, emphasizing that he entered public service not for political gain but to serve the people.
Further elaborating on his stance, Governor Yusuf reiterated that his primary objective is to contribute meaningfully to the well-being of the people of the Western Province.
