Previously, she was given a one-year service extension, and after the end of that service extension, it is said that she has been appointed for another six months.
It was alleged that Mrs Gangani Liyanage, the Government Printer, was also involved in the conspiracy to postpone the local government elections that were to be held indefinitely.
However, she denied the allegations at the time.
