Government Prepares to Declare End of Bankruptcy Amid Celebrations, But True Status Depends on International Credit Rating Agencies | VIDEO | Sri Lanka Latest News

Samagi Jana Balawega Member of Parliament Mr. Harsha Silva mentions that he has received information that in the coming week, the governments preparing to light firecrackers and eat milk rice. Sri Lanka Latest News

He also said that with the announcement by the President that Sri Lanka is out of bankruptcy on the 27th or 28th, these celebrations are planned to be held throughout the country.

He said that the President is going to announce that Sri Lanka has become an important member of the international financial market after getting out of bankruptcy and at the same time the President will also announce that he will contest the presidential election.

However, the MP said that international credit rating agencies decide whether a country is bankrupt or not and asked the government not to lie to the people.
