Reports indicate that government ministers are continuously pressuring SJB MPs to join the government this week. Opposition MPs have informed their party leadership and chiefs about this situation.
In response, Opposition Leader Mr Sajith Premadasa is expected to make a special statement on Thursday, addressing these pressures. It is known that he will present factual evidence to support his claims.
Last week, Pohottuwa promised their party to inform the President’s side about leading a group of SJB members to the government this week.
