The visa period given by the Singapore government to former President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa was scheduled to expire tomorrow (11).
However, it has been learned that President Ranil Wickremesinghe has personally intervened and negotiated with the Singapore government to extend the visa period of the former president.
Accordingly, it is reported that the former president lives in a safe place under the full protection of the Singapore government.
