The Central Committee of the Government Medical Officers Association has unanimously decided not to accept Dr. G. Wijesuriya as the Deputy Director General of Health Services in future activities.
This decision is to be notified to the Public Service Commission in the coming week, where Dr. G. Haritha Aluthge, secretary of the union, said that they hope to file a complaint against Dr. Wijesuriya.
