Foreign media report that the finance ministers of the G7 countries are scheduled to hold an emergency meeting following the rise of crude oil prices, which have exceeded $100 per barrel for the first time since 2022.

Reports indicate that the ministers are focusing on a proposal to release emergency fuel reserves as a potential solution to the surge in prices. The United States has already expressed support for this measure, according to foreign media.

The G7 countries include Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

However, it is reported that following the publication of these reports, the price of crude oil in the global market has decreased from $117.65 to $104 per barrel.
