Minister of Power and Energy Kanchana Wijesekera says that a committee was appointed to evaluate suitable companies for importing, distribution and sale of petroleum products in the country.
He mentioned via a tweet. that the relevant committee was appointed on 5th August.
Accordingly, the Minister had mentioned that several companies will have the opportunity to engage in the petroleum industry in Sri Lanka in the future along with CEYPETCO and Lanka IOC
