It has been reported that Mr. Sanjeeva Basnayake, the private secretary to former State Minister Mr. Lohan Ratwatte, has been fatally shot.
According to initial information, Mr. Basnayake’s death occurred as a result of a self-inflicted gunshot wound at the residence of Mr. Lohan Ratwatte.
Police have launched a thorough investigation into the incident.
