Former SriLankan Airlines CEO Kapila Chandrasena Dies by Suicide, Police Confirm

Former Kapila Chandrasena has died by suicide, according to police.

Police Spokesperson ASP F.U. Wutler stated that his body was found hanging at his residence located at No. 38, Pedris Place, Kollupitiya.

Kapila Chandrasena had previously been released on bail in connection with the Airbus deal case.

However, the court had issued an order yesterday (7) for his re-arrest over allegations of criminal breach of trust.
