Former Member of Parliament Thushara Indunil has announced his candidacy for the position of Chief Minister of the North Western Province in the upcoming Provincial Council election.
He stated that he will be contesting as the leader of the North Western Provincial Group of the Samagi Jana Balawegaya.
Furthermore, the former MP emphasized that the party’s leadership has officially decided that he will be the Chief Ministerial candidate for the election.
