Former Colombo Mayor Rosy Senanayake has requested an extension of two weeks to stay in the official residence. The council has paid a Rs.8 lakh electricity bill!

The former mayor of Colombo Mrs. Rosy Senanayake has sent a letter to the governor requesting that she be allowed to stay at the mayor’s official residence for another 2 weeks.

Mrs. Rosy Senanayake had previously requested the governor to allow her to live there even though the municipal council had been dissolved by now.
