Basil returned, in an attempt to secure 113 votes for the 24th vote in parliament.

The national organizer of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna Mr. Basil Rajapaksa has returned to the island.
The General Secretary of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna, lawyer Mr. Sagara Kariyawasam mentioned that Mr. Basil Rajapaksa has returned to the island.

Mr. Basil Rajapaksa left for Dubai on May 7th.
