Japan created a major upset in the FIFA World Cup in Qatar beating the mighty German side 2-1.
Ilkay Guendogan found the Japanese net in the 33rd minute and that proved German dominance in the first half.
However, that all changed when Japan charged into the second half with two back to back goals from Ritsu Doan (75′) and Takuma Asano (83′).
