Fake Letter Scandal Emerges: Sajith Premadasa Accepts Debate Challenge, but Hoax Strikes Social Media

Opposition leader Mr. Sajith Premadasa accepted the challenge made by Mr Anura Kumara Dissanayake today and announced that he was ready for the debate, but within an hour a fake letter was created by some party and sent to the social media networks.Sri Lanka Latest News

The date of tomorrow (23) is recorded in the letter, which has been prepared by using the letterhead and signature of Mr. Sajith Premadasa, the leader of the opposition.

Also, it is mentioned in the letter that June 31 is ready for the debate and such a June 31 cannot be seen in the calendar.

Accordingly, the SJB side believes that this letter may have been forged by some party to embarrass the leader of the opposition and disrupt the debate.
