The State and Provincial Public Service Trade Unions have decided to engage in a campaign today (30) throughout the island to demand a stipend of 20,000 rupees or a salary increase from this year’s budget. Sri Lanka Latest News
Chandana Suriyaarachchi, the coordinator of the union association, said that the agitation campaign is scheduled to be held today at 12 noon.
It is reported that around 300 government institutions representing various trade unions will join the protest in support of this.
