The Election Commission has addressed a complaint regarding the recent decision made by the Minister in charge on October 2, 2024, to dismiss the Managing Director of the Port Authority and appoint a junior officer to the position.
In response, the National Election Commission has instructed the Secretary of the relevant Ministry to revoke the appointment immediately and submit a detailed report within three days.
