For that, there were about twelve thousand people representing the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna in the district’s Kala Veva Constituency.
Here, members of parliament W. D. Weerasinghe, Sanjeeva Edirimanna, Rohitha Abeygunawardena, Tissa Kuttiarachchi, Johnston Fernando, SM Chandrasena, SC Muthukumarana, Gamage Weerasena, Kalawa Constituency Organizer Former Chief Minister SM Ranjith Samarakoon, Former Provincial Council Chairman T.M.R. Siripala, the public representative, spoke.
It is special here that the Minister of State for Finance Shehan Semasinghe was not present and former President Mahinda Rajapaksa did not address the conference while all the other Parliamentary Ministers of Anuradhapura district attended the inaugural seat conference of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna.
