A person who had relations with Saharan Hashim, the main suspect in the terrorist attack on Easter Sunday, has been arrested in Tamil Nadu, India.

The Indian National Investigation Agency has arrested the person concerned, and it is reported that he is a member of the Islamic State Terrorist Organization (ISIS) during preliminary investigations.

Information exposed that this person named Sheikh Hidayatullah has been in contact with Saharan Hashim, the main suspect of the Easter Sunday terror attack in 2019, and is also reported to be involved in various terrorist activities.

It is also revealed that the suspect in question has a direct connection to the car bombing incident in Coimbatore, India on October 23, and the reports indicate that in addition to him, a person named Sanofer Ali, who is said to have participated in the plans to launch the terrorist attacks, has also been arrested.

Sheikh Hidayatullah, who has been propagating extremist ideology since 2017, was arrested in June 2019 along with Asaruddin.

Asaruddin is still in Indian custody in connection with the terrorist attack on Easter Sunday. In the meantime, Sheikh Hidayatullah has been released on bail in 2020.
