A foreign couple who have come from Sweden to Gurunagar area of Jaffna have started cleaning the Gurunagar beach with the help of a group of young people from Jaffna.
The two who came from Sweden are going to stay in Jaffna for a month, and during that time, their full contribution will be used for beach cleaning.
Even after their return to Sweden, the couple hopes to start a program with the participation of the youth of the province to clean the Gurunagar beach, and for that, they hope to involve the group of young people who are currently working with them to clean the Gurunagar beach under financial support.
