Social media activist Piyath Nikeshala has been arrested by the Criminal Investigation Department. Sri Lanka Latest News

He was also summoned before the Criminal Investigation Department to obtain a statement regarding the live broadcast on social media at the time of the burning of the private house of President Ranil Wickramasinghe on 09.07.2022.

The police said that he was arrested after receiving a statement in this regard.
