He said that about two millimeters of water on the surface evaporates from the volume of water that fills the Victoria Reservoir and now it evaporates more than twice as much.
The Chief Engineer said that at present only 11 square kilometers of water is left in the Victoria Reservoir and 13 square kilometers of water has dried up.
Victoria Reservoir has an area of 24 square kilometers when it is full.
