Two police sergeants working in the Police Tourism Division attached to the Katunayake Airport Police were arrested on suspicion.
According to the information disclosed by the two arrested suspect police officers, two gel packets mixed with gold powder were also found.
A senior police officer of the area told Lankadeepa that following a complaint made by a thirty-year-old businessman resident of Koswatta Kottaramulla area, Natthandia, these two police sergeants were arrested on suspicion.
